The Names our Teachers have Taught us to Forget
Isn’t it strange that many names of other prophets names and people in Bible, have remained the same? For example Adam, Eve, Cain, Abel, Moses, Abraham, Isaac, including Satan and Lucifer. Yet the true names of the Father and Son have been changed saying it has been changed when they translated the name from Hebrew to Greek to English. So why then have the other names remained the same? How would you like it if I decided to change your name to the name of your worst enemy and then tell you to accept it? Would you be happy? Of course not! Satan has cunningly deceived us through so called “translation” of Scriptures to change the true names of our Elohim to pagan names. Satan wanted the worship for himself so when the true names of Elohim are changed to pagan names he deceitfully gets the glory and worship.
Why has Yahuwah’s Name has been removed from the Scriptures 7000 times?
Proof that the Name “Jesus” is NOT
the True Name of the Son of God
THE LETTER “J” IS ONLY 500 YEARS OLD!
The letter "J" did not exist until about 500 years ago in the English language!
The first page of the 1599 Geneva Bible has Iesous. So How can our Messiah's Name be Jesus if the letter "J" did not exist until 500 years ago in the English language?
In the English Alphabet, the letter “I” was originally used for the letter "J." The very first English-language book to make clear distinction between the sound of “I” and the sound of "J" was not written until 1634. The reason you will see HalleluYAH" spelled this way – meaning in Hebrew, “Praise be to YAH”!
When you sing and praise, do you not speak Hallelujah? How do you pronounce it? Did you know, Wycliffe's bible, does not have it spelled Hallelujah, but rather "Alleluia" but it is pronounced Ha-le-loo-Yah.
The 1611 KJV Bible was the original, most well-known and accepted translation of the Bible. This Bible has absolutely no letter "J" in it.
The name “Jesus,” did not exist until around 400 years ago. If the letter "J" and its shape and sound is only about 500 years old, how could it be the name of our Messiah?
There is not now (nor was there ever), an equivalent letter "J" in all the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet.
The Name given by the Almighty to His Son is actually “Yahusha”meaning “Yah is Salvation.” That's powerful!
The title - “the LORD” is NOT “the LORD’s name.” Remember, “LORD” is only a title, not a name for anyone.
THE FACT IS, OUR SAVIOUR WAS A HEBREW AND HAD THE HEBREW NAME, YAHUSHA!
Think about it… If the Messiah was born a Hebrew with a Hebrew mother, then He would have a Hebrew name! Is “Jesus” a Hebrew name? No!
Is it just merely coincidence that “Ieso” is the Greek goddess of healing, daughter of the chief deity Zeus?
Can you see the resemblance between Jesus and Zeus? Neither is there a letter "J" in the Greek alphabet. Neither is there a letter “J” in the Hebrew alphabet.
Research reveals that the name "Jesus" is linked to the Greek Sun-god "Zeus," exposed in the book – “COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE,” by C. J. Koster.
Isaiah 42:8 I am the Yahuwah: that is my ________: and my glory will I not give to __________, neither my praise to graven ___________.
The name Jesus Christ comes from the pagan god they call Je-Zeus Christ, Yea-sus or Yea-Zeus by the early heathen Christians.
In the early 1500s, Pope Alexander VI employed Leonardo da Vinci to paint his gay son, Cesare Borgia, as Jesus Christ. Michelangelo first painted the most common religious image used in deceiving the world today. It is a picture of a blue-eyes European with blond hair, who they maliciously claim to be Jesus Christ. This false image was modelled after Cesare Borgia, who was the second son of so-called Pope Alexander VI, of Rome.
ANOTHER SHOCKER!
The Image of Jesus Christ is really Caesarea Borgia the illegitimate gay son of Pope Alexander V1
I-H-S represents the pagan gods Isus, Horus, Seth – also known as the pagan trinity.
Many dictionaries admit that I-H-S is the abbreviation for Ihsous (Iesous). These are the pagan gods Isus. Horace and Seb which the Catholic and Eastern Orthodox adopted as their Christian gods.
I-H-S is the mystery name that the Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox churches have on their alters, and on their vestments when they say mass.
The letters I-H-S is also on their host which they claim is the actual body of their fictitious god, Jesus Christ. One wonders why was the name of Yahusha changed when the name of Satan was left unmolested from the Hebrew into English?
This is My Name Forever - I am Yahuwah
Exodus 3:15 This is My Name _____________, and this is My __________ to all generations.’
Isaiah 52:6 “Therefore My __________ shall know My ___________ , in that day, for I am the One who is speaking. See, it is _______.”
Ezekiel 39:7And I shall make My set-apart Name known in the midst of My people Yisra’ĕl and not let My set-apart __________ be profaned any more. And the _______________ shall know that I am _____________ the Set-apart One in Yisra’ĕl.
Micah 4:5 For all the peoples walk, each one in the _______ of his mighty one, but we walk in the Name of _____________ our ___________.
Yahuwah’s People - now that you know the truth, will you call Yahuwah and Yahusha by their correct names? His Name brings glory honour and great authority to know who we worship. Lord and God are titles giving honour to Baal which is indirectly worshipping Satan the father of lies.
Q12… Where can you go to find truth as most churches claim that only their church has the truth?
Why you can Trust the Bible as Truth
The Bible is the inspired word of Yahuwah. It is our basic instruction before leaving earth. The Scriptures teach us all we need to know about how to live our life so that we can be blessed and have happy marriages and beautiful Yahuwah fearing children. Yahusha said He is the way, the truth and the life. Yahusha is also the word that became flesh.
John 17:17 Sanctify them by the ___________, Your _______ is truth.
Psalm 138:2 For You have ___________ your _______ above all your Name.
John 15:7 Yahusha said If you abide ____ ____ and my ______ abide in you, you shall ___________ whatever you will and it shall be _______ unto you.
What a beautiful promise for those who obey Yahuwah.
Hebrews 4:12 For the ________ of Yahuwah is _________ and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, _________ to the division of soul and of ________, of joints and marrow and __________ the ________ and intentions of the _____________.
2 Timothy 3:16 ______________ Scripture is Yahuwah _________ and profitable for ____________, for reproof, for ___________ and for training in __________.
Psalm 119:105 Your word is a ________ unto my feet and a _________ unto my path.
Matthew 4:4 Man shall not live by bread alone but by ________ __________ that proceeds from the __________ of Yahuwah.
Isaiah 40:8 The grass _________, the flower _______ but the _______ of Yahuwah stands ___________.
Proverbs 30:5-6 _________ _________ of Yahuwah proves ______; He is a ________ to those who take refuge in Him. Do not _______ to His words, lest He rebuke you and you be found a ________.
A… Yahusha is the living, walking, talking Scripture. The first five Books of the Bible, called the Torah, is the foundation to understanding all the Scriptures. Yahusha is the Word and He says His Word is the way, the truth and the path to eternal life. Obey the Scriptures alone so you can have eternal life. Do not put your trust in man. Check every doctrine and teaching with the Scriptures to see whether it is so. Search the Scriptures daily for they testify of Yahusha and teach you how to live a righteous and holy life.
Only Yahuwah has truth and this can be found in His Word. Read and study the Scriptures daily so you will know more about your Creator and Saviour and will be able to overcome sin and temptation. Reject church doctrine that is opposite to the Scriptures and turn away from traditions of men to follow the truth which is found in the Scriptures so you can have eternal life.
Q13… What does Scripture say about adding to or taking away anything that is written in the Scriptures?
You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of Yahuwah your Elohim which I command you. Deuteronomy 4:2. The corrupt Scribes deliberately removed the Name of our Heavenly Father and our Saviour and replaced them with titles like Lord, God, and Jesus. Our Heavenly Father in heaven has a name, it is mentioned 6,823 times in Scripture. For those that know the truth and choose to continue calling our Elohim by these titles means they are willingly disobedient and continually breaking the Commandments.
Q14… We all get irritated when someone calls us by the wrong name or forgets our name, so how do you think our Elohim Feels?
Your name defines who you are and is very important and the very first thing that people are introduced to. A person's name carries specific meaning and purpose, and their personality and character are also linked to their name. I am Yahuwah, that is My ________; and My __________ will I not give to ________, neither My praise to graven ___________. (Isaiah 42:8)
We have to diligently STUDY Scripture to guide us to the PURE undefiled TRUTH . . . for pastors, rabbi's, prophets, ministers, churches and religion have deceived us for long enough! The Father and Son's Names have been hidden from believers for thousands of years - through the lying pens of Scribes and Translators. (Read Jeremiah 8:8.)
Q15… What is Yahuwah doing in these last days?
Yahuwah is opening the spiritual eyes and ears of His people that love Him and want to please Him. He says "Therefore see, I am causing them to _______, this time I cause them to know My ___________ and My might and they shall know that My ________ is Yahuwah!" (Jeremiah 16:19-21).
Q16… What proof do we have that Jehovah is not the correct name?
Scholars know that Jehovah could never be the name of the Heavenly Father. Aside from the error with the letter J, this word has other problems. Even the Catholics, who have been given the distinction of inventing the word “Jehovah,” know it is not the Father’s Name.
Note what the New Catholic Encyclopaedia (1967) says under “Yahuwah”: “Judging from Greek transcriptions of the sacred name, YHWH ought to be pronounced Yahuwah. The pronunciation Jehovah was unknown in ancient Jewish circles, and is based upon a later misunderstanding of the scribal practice of using the vowels of the word Adonai with the consonants of YHWH,” p. 1065. In the preface to the Revised Standard Version of the Bible is the following: "The sound of Y is represented by J and the sound of W by V, as in Latin. The word ‘Jehovah’ does not accurately represent any form of the Name ever used in Hebrew,” pp. 6-7.
Q17… Do the Jehovah Witnesses admit that Jehovah is not the correct name of the Father?
In the foreword of their Bible, “The New World Translation,” (published by the Jehovah’s Witness Watchtower Bible and Tract Society), they say on page 25: “Yahuwah’ as the more correct way, we have retained the form ‘Jehovah’ because of people’s familiarity with it since the 14th century."
In our search for truth we must retrace our steps and boldly proclaim His true Name, and not follow tradition or erroneous understanding.
Q18… Did Scripture have a warning that His people would forget our Heavenly Father's True Name and call Him Lord or Baal?
Yes in Jeremiah 23:26-27 it says: How long shall this be? Is it in the heart of the prophets that _______ _______, and prophets of the deceit of their own heart? That think to cause My people to _______ My ________ (Yahuwah) by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers forgot My name (Yahuwah or Yahuwah) for _________ (God & Lord).
So you can see that this is exactly what most of the world is doing calling Yahuwah Baal or Lord instead of calling Him by His Name Yahuwah.
Q19… What does the Third Commandment say about our Heavenly Father’s Name?
The Third Commandment is explicit about the necessity of His True Name in our worship. “Thou shalt ______ take the _______ of Yahuwah your Elohim in vain; for Yahuwah will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in _______.”
The word vain in the Hebrew means emptiness, worthlessness, waste and ruin.
Removal of His name brings it
to a state of ruin and desolation.

Ezekiel 39:7 And I shall make My set-apart Name known in the midst of My people Yisra’ĕl and not let My set-apart __________ be profaned any more.
John 17:17Sanctify them by the ___________, Your _______ is truth.
Hebrews 4:12For the ________ of Yahuwah is _________ and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, _________ to the division of soul and of ________, of joints and marrow and __________ the ________ and intentions of the _____________.
2 Timothy 3:16______________ Scripture is Yahuwah _________ and profitable for ____________, for reproof, for ___________ and for training in __________.
Psalm 119:105Your word is a ________ unto my feet and a _________ unto my path.
Matthew 4:4Man shall not live by bread alone but by ________ __________ that proceeds from the __________ of Yahuwah.
Isaiah 40:8The grass _________, the flower _______ but the _______ of Yahuwah stands ___________.
When we talk about God, we need to know which God are we talking about? We need to clarify, because Muslims call on god, Buddhists call on god, every pagan religion calls on god and Christianity and Judaism call on God. This may be confusing, so I like to clarify by saying when I talk about God in this study, I am talking about the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, whose name in Hebrew is YHVH. (יהוה). Some people pronounce the four letters as YaHWeH, some as YeHoVaH and others as YaHUaH and they argue among themselves as of what the correct pronunciation is. One thing we know for sure that His name in Hebrew is spelled with four letters YHVH (Yod, Hey, Vav, Hey) and it is NOT LORD.
First I like to establish the fact that Scripture is very clear that there is ONLY ONE GOD, the Creator and life-giver. Moses told the Children of Israel in Deuteronomy 4:35, 39 — “Unto thee it was shown, that thou mightest know that YHVH he is God; there is none else beside him. 39 know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that YHVH he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.” KJV
In John 17:3 we have the words of Y’shua saying “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Y’shua Ha Mashiach, whom thou hast sent.” KJV There is no other, we need to establish that in our minds.
This GOD is Omnipotent (All-powerful), Omniscient (All-knowing), Omnipresent (ever-present), all-wise and eternal, which means He has no beginning and no end!
The Hebrew God YHVH, who created the worlds through Y’shua stated in Malachi 3:6 “For I am YHVH (יהוה), I shall not change…” The Scriptures
It is important to understand that YHVH is unchangeable. He does not change in His attributes. He does not change in the principles by which He operates. His word is unchangeable also. In Matthew 24:35 Y’shua said, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” KJV His Word stands forever!
This is being re-affirmed in Psalm 119:89: "Forever, O YHVH, thy word is settled in heaven."
For this reason He states in Deutero-nomy 4:2 “Do not add to the Word which I command you, and do not take away from it1, so as to guard the commands of יהוה (YHVH) your Elohim which I am commanding you.” The Scriptures
Do not add your own thoughts or opinion to it and DO NOT remove anything from it. Under no circumstances!
This is also confirmed in Deuteronomy 12:32 “All the words I am commanding you, guard to do it – do not add to it nor take away from it.” The Scriptures
The same is expressed in the New Testament, in James 1:17 “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no change, nor shadow of turning.” The Scriptures
Proverbs 30:5-6 “Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. 6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.” KJV
However, people inspired by Satan through the ages have done exactly that and they are doing it today trying to improve on His Word. Y’shua addressed that problem when He was here on earth saying in Mark 7:13 “Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.” KJV
What about accepting the changes in the form of many different Bible versions?
For example if you look at a paraphrased Bible, such as The Living Bible or The Message, it is a loose, free-flowing rendering that reflects the individual author’s personal idea of what the original text is saying, this functions somewhat like an extended running commentary. This type of Bible is dangerous as it will change the true meaning and will bring confusion and can lead people to damnation.
We must understand that the Bible is under attack. Satan, who succeeded in deceiving Eve in the Garden of Eden, has surely been busy in this 21st Century along the same lines. Beware!
The Bible, starting in Genesis and ending in Revelation, is not just another book, it is not something that I can take or leave. It is the most wonderful and precious book. It is the only book on Earth that gives man explanations for beginnings, past, present and future of our world. It gives the answers to perplexing questions which have plagued mankind for most of his existence. It provides the reasons for the existence of governments and nations; for setting up and deposing of kings and empires; righteousness; evil; wisdom.
Paul states in 2 Tim. 3: 16-17, “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.” KJV
Do you think Paul was referring to his letters to Timothy and others, or was he referring to the writings of Moses and the Prophets?
By the way, there is a page in the Bible that was not written by Moses, the Prophets, the Messiah, the Apostles, or Yahweh Himself. Many quote from that page more than the all other writings combined.
It’s the title page for the New Testament. The only words on that page are "The New Testament." The title page for the New Testament was not written by any apostle or prophet. It was not pinned by the Messiah, nor was it written in any of the original manuscripts, yet Christianity is holding on to this page with all of their strength. This page didn’t come into being until the printing press began mass Printing the Bible of today.
Paul told the young preacher in 2 Timothy 4:13 “Bring the cloak that I left with Karpos at Troas when you come, and the books, especially the parchments.” The Scriptures
What were the books and parchments that Paul wanted Timothy to bring with him? These were without question the five books of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms.
How about Peter? When he wrote his letter to the believers, what Scripture was he referring to in 2 Peter 1: 20-21? “Knowing this first that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” KJV
Was Peter referring to his own letter or to the writings of Moses and the Prophets?
How about James? He referred the Gentiles to the teaching of Moses for instruction in the "essentials" of the faith after the first council in Jerusalem with Peter and Paul in Acts 15:21. “For Moses from ancient generations has in every city those who preach him, since he is read in the synagogues every Sabbath.” KJV
Did James expect Gentile Christians to go and receive the instruction of Moses from synagogues on the Sabbath day? Why would James summarize his instruction and then refer to the teaching of Moses? Maybe his teaching was completely consistent and agreed with Moses. Maybe the true teaching of the New Testament is completely consistent and based upon Moses and the Prophets. We definitely need the instruction of Moses to understand the words of Y’shua just as He said, according to His own words.
“For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote of Me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?" John 5:46-47
[How do these New Testament teachers claim to understand the words of Y’shua if they don’t believe the words of Moses? Answer according to Yeshua: they don’t. The same is true today]
A Religion without Torah leads to paganism, idolatry and confusion. That is what happened to Christianity, it became a religion of sun worship and paganism. Christianity is split up in over 41,000 different groups, churches and denomination and everyone claims to be right. This is a hard saying but truth is truth and it must be addressed. Being without Torah is like a fish without water! Because Torah is the foundation by which everything else must be tested.
Torah is a lot more accurate than the Christian Bible. For example, it is said that the Torah has nine spelling variants ― with absolutely no effect on the meaning of the words. The Christian Bible on the other hand has over 200,000 variants and in 400 instances the variants change the meaning of the text. This comparison demonstrates the remarkable accuracy of the Jewish translation of Torah.
The message of salvation in the New Testament is exactly the same as in the Old Testament, namely by grace, through faith alone, in Messiah Y’shua. The people of the Old Testament were looking forward to the sacrifice of Y’shua and the people of the New Testament are looking back to His death at Calvary.
In Romans 4 the apostle Paul makes that very clear. To prove this, Paul points us to Abraham, who was saved by faith: “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness” (Romans 4:3). Again, Paul quotes the Old Testament to prove his point — Genesis 15:6.
Paul also declares in Colossians 1:16 that Y’shua is the Creator. He said “by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities — all things were created through him and for him”. KJV
Some people claim that the God of the Old Testament is cruel and ruthless by seemingly killing innocent men, women, and children and required strict obedience from His children. But the God of the New Testament is loving, merciful, forgiving and gracious as is being represented by the Messiah and He did away with the Torah.
When you read Exodus 34:5-7 you will discover that this is not correct. The GOD of the[WT1] Old Testament “was merciful, gracious, longsuffering and abundant in goodness and truth. … He was keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin…” KJV
When you study Scripture you will discover that Y’shua, the Messiah of the New Testament, was the Yahweh of the Old Testament. He claimed that He predated Abraham (John 8:57-58). He referred to Himself as the “I AM.” When He had appeared to Moses from the burning bush, He had identified Himself as “I AM WHO I AM” and “I AM” (Exodus 3:14).
In Revelation 1: 8 He said of Himself “I am the ‘Aleph’ and the ‘Taw’, beginning and End,” says יהוה (YHVH) “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” The Scriptures
If we translate that into our modern language, He would be saying: “I AM the I.T., meaning I am IT”! There is none other beside me.
Paul clearly tells us that Y’shua was the one that spoke with Moses and led the nation of Israel out of Egypt (1 Corinthians 10:4 and Deuteronomy 32:18) It was Messiah Himself, the Word of Yahweh, who wrote the Ten Commandments with His own finger, and gave all the commandments including the statutes and judgments to Moses! It is critical to realize that the Yahweh Elohim of the Old Testament was the one who was made flesh and became Y’shua Ha Mashiach, the Son of YHVH (John 1:1).
There was grace in the Old Testament, there is grace in the N.T.
There was mercy in the O.T., there is mercy in the N.T.
The people in the O.T. were saved by the blood of the lamb, the people of the N.T. are saved by the blood of the lamb.
Obedience in the O.T. was the only proof of Love to YHVH and obedience is the only proof of love to YHVH in the N.T.
For many Christians, one difficult problem in the Bible is the apparent contradiction between Paul and James. Is justification by faith, as Paul claims, or by works, as James seems to say?
In Romans, 5:1-2, Paul writes, "Therefore having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God."
James seems to say just the opposite, "You see that a man is justified by works, and not by faith alone."
All one has to read are the next verses in James and you have the answer. “Faith is being made perfect by actions that follow.” James 2:26 states: “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” KJV
To believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, believing that He exists, is only the starting point of faith. But such a belief does not necessarily involve conviction or commitment to Him as the Father and His Son Y’shua, the Messiah! Such a belief in God is profitable, but incomplete and will not help us. As the apostle James noted: “You believe that Elohim is one. You do well. The demons (fallen angels) also believe – and shudder!” (James 2:19 – The Scriptures). We must go beyond the level of belief exhibited by demons.
So true, genuine faith is not mere wishful thinking—a pie-in-the-sky feeling that everything will be all right and we are saved, meaning we have eternal life.
Real true faith is defined as belief with strong conviction; firm belief in something for which there may be no tangible proof; complete trust, confidence, reliance or devotion and still acting on it.
True, living faith requires more than words, it requires action and deeds to prove it’s reality.
James asks this rhetorical question, “What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds?” (James 2:14, NIV). Mere words are useless, when someone needs food and clothing as an example (James 2:15-17
Biblical faith without corresponding works or deeds, without the conditions Heaven has laid down is also called presumption, Satan’s counterfeit of faith. So, when it comes to eternal life, presumption is fatal — eternally fatal.
Faith and obedience are two sides of the same coin and are always found together in the Scriptures. Saving faith is impossible without willing obedience. Genuine faith generates obedience to the one in whom our faith rests.
Let it be taught that the promise of Abraham is to all his descendants by faith in the God of Abraham. Let it be said that Torah is profitable for instruction in righteousness and that Sabbath is for all people (Israel and the adopted sons of God) to be a sign between them and YHVH. Let it be taught that the holidays and festivals are not exclusively Jewish and things of the past. Instead, let it be taught that they are "Biblical" and that they teach about the Messiah – His first coming (the Spring holidays), the giving of the Law and the Spirit (the Summer holiday), and the second coming (the late Summer and early Fall holidays).
Just as Y’shua removed the middle wall of partition at the temple, so we can remove the middle wall of partition in our Bible. It is not a very big page; but its removal will connect Moses and the Prophets with the Gospel of Y’shua the Messiah. It will also set you on the right course to receive the Messiah just as John the Baptist preached. Malachi, the last prophet, says it (Torah) his way as he concludes the Old Testament.
“Remember the Torah of Moses My servant, even the statutes and ordinances which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel.” Malachi 4:4
Why is all of this so difficult to understand by some professed believers? I believe they have been told lies by false teachers. Also, it is not that people cannot understand or couldn’t obey, but they don’t want to. Often It is inconvenient and a cross.
I know of personal experience. I had a family with three children, sent them to private schools, and supported a church organization with 10% of our income in good faith, believing that it was the Father’s will. By supporting the various Christian denominations of today, we make ourselves also guilty of spreading doctrines and teachings of man. I believe the Father understands and winks at the ignorance. Despite the heavy load, we always were able to pay the bills. The Father takes us where we are but does not leave us there, if we are willing to be led by Him. After all, we are admonished to first to seek the kingdom of YHVH and his righteousness, then all the other things will be added unto us (Matthew 6:33).
Blessings Walter Tschoepe.
The truth about the title page for the New Testament There is a page in the Bible that was not written by Moses, the Prophets, the Messiah, the Apostles, or God Himself. Many quote from that page more than the other writings combined. It is not inspired by God and God never told anyone to put that page in the Bible. However, the modern church has emphasized and taught more doctrine based on the words of that page than any other part of the Bible. It is the un-inspired page in the Bible. What page is it, you ask? Consider these additional clues. It only has a few words written on one side, but volumes have been written to explain those words. The other side of the page is intentionally blank, but churchmen have made their primary and foremost teaching of the Bible from that page. But there is even more about that page. Surely, you will know which page I’m referring to by this description. The un-inspired page has become more like a wall in the Bible. When you open your Bible, that page splits and separates the Bible. It separates one kind of thinking from another and sows division within the Scripture like an ax splitting wood. Still don’t know what page I am referring to? Before I answer my own question, let me take you back in history to see something that was like the un-inspired page. In Jerusalem, at the temple, there was a wall of separation in the temple. It separated the temple courts of Israel from the court of the Gentiles. Moses did not instruct that wall to be built, yet it was built. That additional wall was not after the pattern that Moses so specifically instructed to be followed. It was put up by religious men to be a barrier and keep certain people (Gentiles) out of the temple. Not only was it to keep them out of the temple courts, or let them see in, but even more so, it was intended to make a racial and bigoted statement to the Gentiles. It was intended to tell every Gentile that he was not good enough, he didn’t belong, and to get out. It was called the "middle wall of partition." It was another wall put up outside the beautiful gate and the court of women, to keep Gentiles from peering into the temple courts. It wasn’t a very big wall but it was huge in its implications and message. The Apostle Paul says that this middle wall of partition was in opposition to God’s plan and order. He said that it separated and formed two groups of believers in the God of Israel. He also said the Messiah came to take that wall down, to make us one group in the Messiah. An argument could be made that God permitted and, in fact, encouraged the destruction of the temple in 70 A.D. to ensure that the middle wall of partition was taken down. Therefore remember that formerly you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called "Uncircumcision" by the so-called "Circumcision," which is performed in the flesh by human hand – remember that you were at that time separate from Messiah, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Messiah Yeshua you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Messiah. For He Himself is our peace, who made both groups into one and broke down the barrier
of the dividing wall, by abolishing in His flesh the enmity, which is the Law of commandments contained in ordinances, so that in Himself He might make the two into one new man, thus establishing peace, and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by it having put to death the enmity. And He came and preached peace to you who were far away, and peace to those who were near; for through Him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father. EPH 2:10-15
2
I remind you of this historical fact, because the un-inspired page in the Bible has become like another middle wall of partition. The un-inspired page is a barrier. It has been constructed and printed in our Bibles with the same intention of making two groups of believers. Instead of Jews building this wall, it has been built by Gentile church fathers and leaders for the purpose of separating Israel and the Gentile Christians. This time the wall is to keep Gentile believers from going back to Jewish things such as Torah, Sabbath, Holidays, Temple, and the Fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Have you figured out which page is the un-inspired page? Do you see which page is the middle wall of partition today in the Bible?
Here is the answer. It’s the title page for the New Testament. The only words on that page are "The New Testament." The title page for the New Testament was not written by any apostle or prophet. It was not pinned by the Messiah, nor was it written in any of the original manuscripts. It didn’t really come into being until the printing press began mass Printing the Bible of today. But, there is a lot more teaching and doctrine about that page than most believers realize. Let me share some of that teaching and see if you don’t agree that you have received the same teaching. I want to be explicit and clear here – I don’t agree with this teaching. 1. Everything prior to the title page has been fulfilled, completed, and done away with, because Christ has already come and fulfilled, completed, finished, and done away with everything written prior to His coming. ………………… 2. All teaching prior to the title page is good ONLY for historical perspective and should not have any authoritative value in any Christian’s life, as Christ is our only authority now. 3. Any effort to obey any custom or commandment prior to the title page is evidence of religious bondage and "keeping the Law." This is evidence of "salvation by works" and is in direct conflict with Christ’s salvation by faith. 4. Only the pages after the title page are considered to be valid teaching for Christians. They are totally sufficient for instruction in the Christian faith and no other teaching is needed.
The list could go on but you get the idea. I am sure you have heard this teaching and faced this wall. Many Christian teachers today truly believe that the teaching of the Old Testament is valid only for historical perspective. The title page for the New Testament, therefore, is like a barrier set up to redirect Christians back to the New Testament, preventing them from understanding what Moses actually taught.
While I acknowledge that this is the teaching of many Churchmen, is this the teaching of the actual New Testament writers? Is this what James, Peter, John, or Paul believed and taught? Consider these questions about the New Testament and its writers.
When the Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy the following words, what Scripture was he referring to?
All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work. 2TI 3:16-17
Do you think Paul was referring to his letters to Timothy and others, or was he referring to the writings of Moses and the Prophets? What were the books and parchments that Paul wanted Timothy to bring with him? These were obviously the writings of Moses and the Prophets.
3
When you come bring the cloak which I left at Troas with Carpus, and the books, especially the parchments. 2TI 4:13
How about Peter? When he wrote his letter to the believers, what Scripture was he referring to?
But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one's own interpretation, for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God. 2PE 1:20-21
Do you think Peter was referring to his own letter or to the writings of Moses and the Prophets?
How about James? He referred the Gentiles to the teaching of Moses for instruction in the "essentials" of the faith after the first council in Jerusalem with Peter and Paul.
For Moses from ancient generations has in every city those who preach him, since he is read in the synagogues every Sabbath. ACT 15:21
Did James expect Gentile Christians to go and receive the instruction of Moses from synagogues on Sabbath day? [That is a stunning thought, isn’t it?] Why would James summarize his instruction and then refer to the teaching of Moses? Maybe his teaching was completely consistent and agreed with Moses. Maybe the true teaching of the New Testament is completely consistent and based upon Moses and the Prophets. Maybe you need the instruction of Moses to understand the words of Yeshua just as He said.
For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote of Me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?" JOH 5:46-47
[How do these New Testament teachers claim to understand the words of Yeshua if they don’t believe the words of Moses? Answer according to Yeshua: they don’t.]
Don’t misunderstand me. I believe that the writings of the Apostles are part of the Bible and should be given the authority of Scripture just like Moses and the Prophets.
But the argument here is about discarding and devaluing the writings of Moses and the Prophets as compared with the New Testament. What would the writers of the New Testament think of the un-inspired page, the title page of the New Testament, and the present day teaching holding Moses and the Prophets in disregard?
I know the title page didn’t exist at that time, but I contend that the writers of the future New Testament were clear in their consensus that the teaching of Moses and the Prophets was valid and necessary for our new covenant faith. More pointedly, I believe this: anyone teaching that the Old Testament is only for historical or limited value for the New Covenant faith is in direct conflict with the writers of the New Testament. And, they don’t know what they are talking about according to Yeshua.
Most believers and Bible students have never done a study of the Bible to understand how and why the actual books of the Bible are contained therein. In particular, how and why were the New Testament books selected and made part of the Bible of today. It is a fascinating study to say the least. However, there is clear consensus and agreement between Jewish and Christian scholars about the Old Testament books. The Apostles taught exclusively from the Old Testament to instruct the first century Christians.
Do you remember the disciples on the road to Emmaus after the crucifixion? They were discouraged and didn’t understand Yeshua’s death. Then Yeshua appeared to them in an unusual way. He taught them about His ministry and life by referring to Moses and the Prophets.
4
And beginning with Moses and with all the prophets, He explained to them the things concerning Himself in all the Scriptures. LUK 24:27
Upon hearing this instruction they said the word burned within them. Then Yeshua revealed Himself at the blessing over bread. What does Moses and all the prophets have to say about the Messiah and His ministry that causes New Testament Christians to burn within their hearts? Why didn’t Yeshua need a New Testament to convince them of the reason and rationale of the resurrection?
The first evidence of any New Testament writings does not appear until approximately 30 years after the resurrection of Yeshua. Further, the book of Revelation is believed to have been written about 60 years (90 A.D.) after the resurrection.
What is in the Old Testament that was so capable of teaching new believers of Yeshua in that first century? How did Baptists in Jerusalem operate the first 60 years without a New Testament and a Baptist Hymnal? (I’m having a little fun here, Brethren. Everyone knows that Baptists didn’t show up until centuries later. But don’t tell the Baptists that, they think James was the pastor of First Baptist of Jerusalem on the corner of Via Delarosa and Damascus Street near the Fish Gate.) Let’s go back to the very first week of Yeshua’s public ministry. Something very strange happened there that relates to our discussion of the un-inspired page.
John the Baptist (not one of the First Baptist Brethren I mentioned earlier) was preaching the baptism of repentance in preparation for the coming King (and Kingdom). John had a number of followers looking expectantly for the Messiah.
There was some question as to whether John the Baptist was himself that Messiah. He denied it and said he was fulfilling the words of Isaiah the prophet as "the voice of one crying in the wilderness."
He said, "I am a voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way of the
Lord,’ as Isaiah the prophet said." JOH 1:23
Yeshua came one day and John proclaimed, "Behold, the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world." That day, some of John’s disciples asked Yeshua where He was staying. Yeshua showed them. Immediately, Andrew went to his brother (Peter) and said, "We have found the Messiah." The very next day, Philip went to his friend Nathaniel and said, "We have found Him spoken of by Moses and the Prophets." At that point, five men believed that Yeshua of Nazareth, the son of Joseph, was the long awaited Son of God and Messiah of Israel.
So, here is the question. What prophecy did Yeshua fulfill that so convinced these men that He was the Messiah? What speech had Yeshua made at this point? What miracle had he performed? On what basis of Scripture did these men properly place their faith to be convinced that Yeshua was the Messiah? What part of the Bible were they referring to?
While it takes a little instruction to go through all these questions, we can say with certainty that the Old Testament was the part of the Bible they were relying on. Therefore, there is sufficient instruction in the Old Testament alone to convince a reasonably minded person that Yeshua is the Messiah. The evidence of the New Testament with its miracles and fulfilled prophecies is frosting on the cake.
So then, why do New Testament teachers diminish the value of the Old Testament particularly when it comes to teaching the Messiah Yeshua? The answer is varied, but can be simplified this way. Teachers who avoid the Old Testament don’t know what it
5
teaches about the Messiah. They have no idea why the five believed. They do not understand what Yeshua said that burned within them.
Moses is the greatest prophet of the Messiah. The Old Testament prophets have more to say about the second coming and the millennial kingdom than the New Testament does. But how many Churchmen know this?
I have met with Pastors and other churchmen often to discuss the value of the Torah as a foundational teaching to the New Covenant believers. I have made the statement that Moses is the greatest prophet of the Messiah followed by everyone’s head nodding in full agreement. Finally, one day I handed my Bible to an established Pastor and asked, "Show me." I asked him to show me where Moses spoke of the Messiah so we could understand why Andrew went for Peter and Philip went for Nathaniel. You know what happened? He couldn’t do it. He couldn’t find any Scripture to convince me that Yeshua was the Messiah because he didn’t know what Moses or the Prophets had said. It was really ironic, because he did believe that Yeshua was the Messiah. That event reminded me of when Yeshua asked Nicodemus about being "born again." When Nicodemus stumbled over the thought, Yeshua asked him, "Are you a teacher of Israel and do not understand these things?" Did you know the Old Testament teaches about being born again?
The contrast is striking. Common men, followers of John the Baptist, who believe Moses and the Prophets can recognize the Messiah, but Nicodemus, a teacher of Moses and the Prophets, cannot. Today, we have the same thing. Religious men are generally stumped as to the substantive teaching of the Messiah given by Moses and the Prophets. As a result, they fail to understand some very basic issues concerning the Torah. Their understanding is generally limited to historical aspects with types and shadows. Very few understand why Andrew and Philip were so convinced that Yeshua was the Messiah.
Remember Philip, one of those who believed in the Messiah from the beginning? Even though he was an eye-witness to the life of Yeshua, he used the writings of Isaiah to convince the Ethiopian to accept Yeshua as the Messiah and be baptized (Acts 8).
Today the average believing Christian has no chance of being instructed about the Messiah from a Mosaic or Prophetic standpoint because of the title page to the New Testament. That page alone sends the average Gentile back, empty handed to the New Testament. A very compelling example of this was shared with me recently. Within the last generation, missionaries to China were given the opportunity to share the Gospel with the Chinese people. Their best efforts fell short of properly teaching and building a community of faith in many places. Why? Because they only translated the New Testament and Psalms of the Bible into the Chinese language. The new Chinese believers found themselves inadequately taught and prepared to live the life of faith. They had no basis for God as creator. They had no basis for a definition of sin. They had no basis to understand the covenants with God. The teaching of the Church and the New Testament alone are not enough to sustain or disciple new brethren in the faith. If it didn’t work for the Chinese people, what makes you think it will work for Americans or anyone else for that matter? By the way, it is not working here in America either. The whole Bible teaches that God has progressively manifested Himself like a growing tree. In fact, the Scripture is called the tree of life by many Bible students and teachers. The root system is God with His nourishment and serves as our anchor for truth and a sure
6
foundation. We are taught to be rooted and established in God. The teachings of Moses, the first written teachings of the Bible, serve as the trunk of the tree. The trunk is the main conduit of nutrients from the root to the branches. The trunk is the foundation and pedestal for the branches to be lifted off the ground. The branches are the work of prophets and apostles. The branches bear fruit and provide cover to others. A tree that is missing its trunk has no roots and appears as dead and dying branches. Therefore, the very foundations of our new covenant faith are based on the Torah and the teachings of Moses. This is what is meant by Paul when he makes the argument of faith and Law. The Law (Torah) is not done away with, as some claim. Faith and Law work together, not to the exclusion. Do we then nullify the Law through faith? May it never be! On the contrary, we establish the Law. ROM 3:31 For those of us who have been renewed in our faith of Yeshua by studying the Torah, we have found a real Messiah just as Andrew and Philip believed. We have found that the works of Yeshua come alive and burn in our hearts whenever He quotes or teaches what Moses and the Prophets taught. We have found that Paul’s arguments for the faith are solid and based on the wisdom and the teaching of Moses, beginning with Abraham. We have found why Paul said "all Scripture" is profitable for instruction in righteousness. We understand and can sense the move of the Spirit in the words of the Old Testament just as Peter said. Moses serves as a basis to then understand the words of the New Testament.
However, we also recognize that others have abused and added to the Scripture to twist the meaning and value for their own designs. Moses instructed Israel not to add nor take away from the Scripture (Deut 4:2). In both cases, it diminishes the value of the Scripture. The same principle is true of the New Testament. Adding a title page has set up another middle wall of partition that separates the Gentiles from the courts of Israel. The Gospels are no different than the Prophets or the Torah. They don’t need their own title pages. So, why does the New Testament need a title page? I have a recommendation for you brethren. Take down that wall. Remove that barrier. Tear out that un-inspired page from your Bible and encourage others to do the same. Let the Bible be what God and holy men have shown it to be. From Genesis to Revelation, let there not be a dividing wall for the Gentiles any longer.
Just rip the page clean out of your Bible. Then take that title page and show every brother that it is un-inspired and does not belong in anyone’s Bible.
But, I should warn you brethren about removing the title page from the Bible. Your fellow church brethren will have a fit for you doing this. They will accuse you of desecrating a Holy thing. Some of our brethren think that the whole Bible is Holy beginning with the leather cover and all the way to the maps. They’re the ones who believe there was a First Baptist in Jerusalem.
Let it be taught that the promise of Abraham is to all his descendants by faith in the God of Abraham. Let it be said that Torah is profitable for instruction in righteousness and that Sabbath is for all people (Israel and the adopted sons of God) to be a sign between them and God. Let it be taught just as Paul taught, "Sabbath and holidays are a shadow of things to
7
come." Remember, the word “mere” was added just before the word shadow in the English Bibles. This was an intentional effort to diminish the value of the Old Testament which teaches us about Sabbath and holidays.
Just as Yeshua removed the middle wall of partition at the temple, so you can remove the middle wall of partition in your Bible. It is not a very big page; but its removal will connect Moses and the Prophets with the Gospel of Yeshua the Messiah. It will also set you on the right course to receive the Messiah just as John the Baptist preached. Malachi, the last prophet, says it (Torah) his way as he concludes the Old Testament.
Remember the Law of Moses My servant, even the statutes and ordinances which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel. MAL 4:4
It is time to believe the words of Moses and the Prophets like Andrew and Philip did, instead of making their words into decorative plaques for sale in Christian bookstores. It is time that we begin to believe those words so we can understand the words of Messiah Yeshua. Brethren, don’t let the un-inspired page be a wall and a barrier for you any longer. Don’t let others keep you out of the courts and the sanctuary which Yeshua made in your hearts, the true tabernacle of David raised up by David’s Son. Don’t let religious men tell you that the teaching of Moses is not for you, that it is done away with, and to get out. Join with me in taking that wall down so we might be one assembly unto the Lord.

First the question, “Who decides “what is an abomination, who decides what is right and what is wrong?”
Is there such a thing as right and wrong? Is there a set standard? Some would say, "But that's your opinion." If one man's opinion is as good as another, then truly, there is no absolute right or absolute wrong. If there is no set stard, then the homosexual's standard as an example of right and wrong is as good as mine. If there is no set standard, then the abortion doctor's standard of right and wrong is as good as mine. If every man's opinion of right and wrong is as good as the next man's opinion, we have chaos.
According to the Book of Judges 17:6 and 21:25, Israel's main problem at that time was that "every man did that which was right in his own eyes." That was a time, when there was no judge or king over them. What was right in everyone’s eyes was evil to Yahweh, He continually had them oppressed by other nations because of that chaos. If we were to ask the Israelites in Jeremiah's day about their lifestyle, obviously, from the context of the passage, they saw nothing wrong with their actions. But Yahweh Elohim called their actions "abominations."
Since the fall of Adam and Eve, man has been calling evil good and good evil. The Bible states that "The imaginations of man's heart are evil from their youth" (Gen. 8:21).
In another place it states: "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death" (Prov. 14:12). And "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it" (Jer. 17:9). It is obvious therefore that man's sense of right and wrong is so warped by sin and the flesh, he cannot properly decided right and wrong.
Man needs a standard. The good news is that GOD, our Creator has given us a standard — namely His Word. Y’shua prayed, "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth" (John 17:17).
The Psalmist wrote, "Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth forever" (Ps. 119:160).
“Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy Torah is the truth" (Ps. 119:142). "Thy Word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee" (Ps. 119:11).
When you search the Scripture, you find the word "abomination" about 150 times in the English Bible, translated from different Hebrew words (Tpiggul, to`ebhah, sheqets or shiqquts) to express Yahweh’s disapproval and rejection of things done by man in violation of His will.
An abomination is worshipping idols (Jeremiah 32:32-35), perverse sexuality (Leviticus 18:19) sins in general (Proverbs 6:16-17), transgressing his covenant (Deuteronomy 17:2), eating unclean foods (Isaiah 66:17) etc.
I would like to emphasize at this point that we better MAKE SURE that we are not involved with a practice which our Creator considers so vile, repugnant, despicable, dishonorable, gross, defiling, depraved, obnoxious, offensive, base, repulsive, evil, contemptible, shameful, idolatrous, and downright disgusting ……. that He calls it an ABOMINATION (i.e. the lowest of the low forms of wickedness – an utmost hatred), and PERSONALLY promises to cut off from His people those guilty of this practice, AND to cast them into the Lake of Hellfire and Brimstone, which is the Second Death!
The following analysis of the various Hebrew terms is taken from this website: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abomination_(Bible)
Abomination (from Latin abominare, "to deprecate as an ill omen") is an English term used to translate the Biblical Hebrew terms shiqquts שיקוץ and sheqets שקץ, which are derived from shâqats, or the terms תֹּועֵבָה, tōʻēḇā or to'e'va (noun) or ta'ev (verb). An abomination in English is that which is exceptionally loathsome, hateful, sinful, wicked, or vile – in other words, an "utmost hatred."
Shiqquts is used in the following ways:
1. In Daniel's prophecies for Daniel 11:31 (cf. 12:11), Shiqquts is generally interpreted as referring to the fearful calamities that were to fall on the Jews in the time of Antiochus IV Epiphanes, saying "And they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate." Jerome, and most of the Christian fathers, suppose that the reference is to Antiochus as the type of Antichrist, and that the description passes from the type to the antitype. Idolatry is presented as the chief sin in the Bible, and shiqquts is often used to describe such.
2. In his campaign of Hellenization, Antiochus caused an altar to be erected on the altar for burnt-offerings of the Second Temple, on which pig sacrifices were offered to Zeus Olympios. (Comp. 1 Maccabees 1:54). Following the wording of Daniel 9:27, this may have been the abomination of desolation of Jerusalem.
3. Sinful sacrifices (Isaiah 66:3)
4. Idolatry (Deuteronomy 29:17, Ezekiel 20:7,8, 1Kings 11:5-7, Jeremiah 13:27)
5. Witchcraft (2 Kings 23:24)
The word sheqets is used with eating:
1. Seafood that lacks fins and scales (Leviticus 11:10-12)
2. All insects except for locust, crickets and grasshoppers (Lev 11:20-23, Lev 11:41)
3. Eagles, ossifrage (vulture), and the osprey (Leviticus 11:13) other Biblically unclean animals or touching certain things. (Leviticus 7:21)
Shâqats is rendered in the KJV as follows:
1. Abominable (Leviticus 11:43, Leviticus 20:25)
2. Abomination (Leviticus 11:11, Leviticus 11:13)
3. Abhorred (Psalms 22:24)
4. Detest (Deuteronomy 7:26)
Tōʻēḇā is used in the following ways:
1. Every shepherd was "an abomination" unto the Egyptians (Genesis 46:34).
2. Pharaoh was so moved by the fourth plague, that while he refused the demand of Moses, he offered a compromise, granting to the Israelites permission to hold their festival and offer their sacrifices in Egypt. This permission could not be accepted, because Moses said they would have to sacrifice "the abomination of the Egyptians" (Exodus 8:26); i.e., the cow or ox, which all the Egyptians held as sacred and so regarded as sacrilegious to kill.
3. Proverbs 6:16-19 lists seven things which are also abominations: "haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who utters lies, and one who spreads strife among brothers."
Tōʻēḇā is also used in Jewish (and Christian Old Testament) scriptures to refer to:
1. Idolatry or idols (Deuteronomy 7:25, 13:14, Isaiah 44:19)
2. Illicit sex (e.g. prostitution, adultery, incest) (Ezekiel 16:22,58, Ezekiel 22:11, Ezekiel 33:26)
3. Illicit marriage (Deuteronomy 24:2-4)
4. Male prostitution and/or other male homosexual (see Homosexuality in the Hebrew Bible) (Leviticus 18:22, Leviticus 18:27-30, Leviticus 20:13)
5. Temple prostitution (1Kings 14:24)
6. Offerings from the above (Deuteronomy 23:18)
7. Child sacrifice (Jeremiah 32:35)
8. Cross-dressing (Deuteronomy 22:5)
9. Cheating in the market by using unjust weights (Deuteronomy 25:13-19, Proverbs 11:1)
10. Dishonesty (Proverbs 12:22)
11. Dietary violations (Deuteronomy 14:3)
12. Stealing, murder, and adultery, breaking covenants (Jeremiah 7:9,10)
13. Usury, violent robbery, murder, oppressing the poor and needy, etc. (Ezekiel 18:10-13)
End of Quote!
As we can see, among the objects described in the Old Testament as "abominations" are heathen gods, such as Ashtoreth (Astarte), Chemosh, Milcom, the "abominations" of the Zidonians (Phoenicians), Moabites, and Ammonites, respectively (2 Kings 23:13), and everything connected with the worship of such gods.
Some people may say that this was then, but what about today? Are there practices today that are called abominations?
Celebration of birthdays, even including that of the Messiah was rejected as a pagan tradition by most Christians during the first three hundred years of Christianity. There was, (and still is), no scriptural support to be found for celebration of Christmas, no commandment that Y’shua’s birthday be observed and no exact date of birth had been given that should be used for His birthday celebration. Doing some research, however, we know that Y’shua was born during the feast of Tabernacles, which is in the fall.
The tradition of celebrating December 25 as Messiah’s birthday came to the Romans from Persia. Mithra, the Persian god of light and sacred contracts, was born on December 25. Rome was famous for its flirtations with strange gods and cults and in the third century the unchristian emperor Aurelian established the festival of Dies Invicti Solis, the Day of the Invincible Sun, on December 25. Check it out for yourself; do some research.
Christmas, the celebration of Messiah’s birth, is an abomination to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, a blasphemous festival in honor of the Sun god or Baal-worship. That includes the Xmas-tree, St. Nicholas, Santa Claus, the Yule Log, the exchanging of gifts, Xmas carols, the Mistletoes, etc.
Easter with the decoration and coloring of eggs, Easter bunnies or the egg laying rabbit, the consumption of Easter candy, etc. is a pagan festival and an abomination. It has nothing to do with Y’shua, the Hebrew Messiah. This feast is honoring Semiramis (the bare breasted spring goddess Ashtaroth), the wife of Tammuz.
Keeping the first day of the week (Sunday) instead of the seventh day (Sabbath) is an abomination, because Sunday as the word says honors the “sun-god” and not “Abba” our Creator as does His established Sabbath.
As soon as people convince themselves that they can worship the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob anyway they choose, sin is soon to follow. Just like Nadab and Abihu who offered up a strange fire to YHVH (Yahweh), most don’t see the harm in changing God’s order. Leviticus 10:1, 2
When we add to Yahweh’s Word, we make it our word, which makes it an abomination. If we don’t want to be an abomination to God in our worship, we must do things His Way, and reject Man’s Way. Only when we speak the oracles of God and worship as did the apostles are we worshiping Him in Spirit and in Truth. 1 Peter 4:11; John 4:23, 24
It is to be noted that not only the heathen idol itself, but anything offered to or associated with the idol, all the paraphernalia of the forbidden cult, was called an "abomination," for it "is an abomination to Yahweh thy God" (Deuteronomy 7:25,26). Then it even stated the following: `neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thy house and thus become a thing set apart (cherem = tabooed) like unto it; thou shalt utterly detest it and utterly abhor it, for it is a thing set apart' (tabooed).
Everything akin to magic or divination is likewise an abomination to`ebhah; as are sexual transgressions (Deuteronomy 22:5; 23:18; 24:4), especially incest and other unnatural offenses: "For all these abominations have the men of the land done, that were before you" (Leviticus 18:27; com-pare Ezekiel 8:15).
It is to be noted, however, that the word takes on in the later usage a higher ethical and spiritual meaning: as where "divers measures, a great and a small," are forbidden (Deuteronomy 25:14-16).
And in Proverbs where "lying lips" (Proverbs 12:22), "the proud in heart" (Proverbs 16:5), "the way of the wicked" (Proverbs 15:9), "evil devices" (Proverbs 15:26), and "he that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the righteous" (Proverbs 17:15), are said to be an abomination in Yahweh’s sight.
Also the Roman Catholic Mass and other Masses which originate from this Mass, are the Satanic counterfeit to Yahweh’s Passover. Yahweh’s has commanded us to observe His annual feasts, not the pagan counterfeits.
Satan would like to have two images of Messiah before us constantly, the infant baby, being looked after by His mother and the dead Messiah on the cross, as this shows Satan’s temporary victory. However, Y’shua is neither of these. Y’shua was raised victoriously from the dead and He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is very much alive and by His death on the cross … He destroy the stronghold of Satan’s plan to overcome the plan of salvation, and very soon, He will utterly destroy the false religions with all their evil practices.
Another example is that Y’shua has absolutely no resemblance to a thin little round wafer, which is used at the Catholic Mass, but in reality represents the sun (and sun god). This is the very opposite of the Passover bread which was unleavened bread and was broken and shared. Y’shua’s broken body is NOT represented by a thin wafer, but by unleavened bread. The truth is that this wafer worship practice was taken from the Babylonian Mystery Religion of sun worship, the worship of Baal.
"The sacrifice of the wicked" and the prayer of him "that turneth away his ear from hearing the law (the Torah)," are equally an abomination (see Proverbs 15:8; 21:27; 28:9). That means Yahweh does not listen to prayers offered by professed believers, if they refuse to listen and obey the law, or better said, His instructions, the Torah.
Another thing is that Christians, who claim to follow the Bible, should be in an uproar over eating bacon, catfish and shellfish. What about our desiring the carved images of gold and silver in the world around us (Deuteronomy 7:25)? Should the Academy Awards be declared as an abomination? Is it possible that the coveted sports trophy on the mantelpiece in the homes is an abomination to Yahweh as well?
Here is another surprise for some people, which they probably didn’t know, is what we find written in Deuteronomy 24:1-4 "When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favor in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house. 2 And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife. 3 And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth it in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her to be his wife; 4 Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before Yahweh: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which Yahweh thy God giveth thee for an inheritance. "
So taking back an ex-wife after she has been defiled, is an abomination to Yahweh.
Does it matter whether something is an abomination or not? Even though Yahweh calls some things an abomination, does He really care whether we do abominable things? How serious is this sin?
The book of Revelation explicitly states concerning the New Jerusalem that Yahweh is preparing for His people, "There shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life" (Revelation 21:27).
In the world that Yahweh Elohim is preparing for His people, there will be no room for abominations. If we want to be a part of that Kingdom, now is the time to look to Yahweh and rid ourselves of the things that could keep us out.
Those who practice the abominable things, will be outside the Holy City: "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death" Revelation 21:8.
How should believers deal with ABOMINATIONS that are listed in the Bible! Very simple, Yahweh says: "Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations" Ezekiel 14:6.
It depends on who you ask. There can be no doubt that Y’shua, His disciples, and the first-century believers kept Saturday, the seventh-day of the week. Yet, today, most of Christianity keeps Sunday, the first day of the week, calling it the Sabbath.
This subject Sabbath versus Sunday maybe one of the longest running debates of any Bible teachings. Theologians and ministers of every background and theology have offered their opinion about the “Saturday or Sunday” question. However, human opinion should not count in reference to Bible doctrines and Bible questions. We must look to Yahweh’s Word alone, the only dependable source and authority.
Which day is holy and which day we are to keep holy arises at the very beginning of creation.
The book of Genesis — the name means “beginnings” — speaks almost immediately about the subject of the seventh day of the week. It is as though the Creator wanted this issue clearly established in the minds of everyone from the outset of their study of Scripture.
In Genesis chapter 2: 1-3, immediately after the record of “Creation” it states: “Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had made; and He RESTED on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. And God BLESSED the seventh day, and SANCTIFIED it: because that in it He had RESTED from all His work which God created and made” KJV There is a strong link between the seventh Day of the week and creation and the Creator.
The seventh day of the week is called “the Sabbath”. The word Sabbath is from the Hebrew word SHABÀT, meaning ‘cessation,’ or ‘time of rest.’ In the beginning Yahweh worked, but he also rested. Work and rest are both in His plan, and both are in nature. The word Sabbath is used Biblically in more than one way, as a memorial day, as a main feast day, or as the seventh day following a six-day work span.
Did God need to rest, the way we need to rest, after 6 days of Creation because He was tired? Of course not.
A more accurate translation of Shavat is "abstained," i.e., "God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it because He abstained from all His work which God created to make" (Gen. 2:4). Nachmanides (12th century) interpreted these words to mean "he ceased to perform all His creative work."
http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/why-did-god-need-to-rest-on-the-seventh-day
The first time the word “Sabbath” itself is mentioned is in Exodus 16:23. God had given a double portion of manna on the 6th day. Moses told the rulers of the congregation: “And he said unto them, this is that which Yahweh hath said, tomorrow is the rest of the holy Sabbath unto Yahweh: bake that which ye will bake to day, and seethe that ye will seethe, and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.” Some of the people went out to look for manna on the seventh day, “And Yahweh said unto Moses, how long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws?” RSB
One very important consideration is that this occurred before the law was given ton Mount Sinai. YHVH said, “How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws?” Exodus 16:28 KJV
That tells us that the people were aware of God’s commandments long before the Exodus! Adam was aware of Yahweh’s law. Noah observed a period of seven days in sending out the dove from the ark. The term “week” is used in the contract between Jacob and Laban. Job and his friends observed the term of “seven days.”
The Sabbath (or Shabbat in Hebrew) is one of the most precious gifts that our Father ever gave to man right at creation! It is also a vital outward sign to those who are part of His people (Read Exodus 31:13; Ezekiel 20:20).
Right in the middle of the word Sabbath is His sign, His signature “abba” as one can clearly see. It is His personal day. It is Abba’s, the Father’s day. That means that neither Sunday, Friday, nor any other man-made day, can become His acceptable day of worship and rest or can these replace the seventh-day Sabbath. Because He made the 7th Day holy and put a special blessing on it.
On the other hand, the very name “Sunday” is evidence that it is the day honoring the sun god, or Baal. It is the day of the “sun”. Sunday comes from paganism.
When you study history or just go through the internet, you will discover that it was Satan through the man of sin in the third Century that officially made the change from the seventh-day to the first day of the week.
“Historians recognize the fact that many different gods were worshipped in the Roman Empire up until the time of Constantine the Great. Then, that fact becomes more obscure as Rome as supposed to be a “Christian empire”. While claiming to be a “Christian”, Constantine maintained the title “Pontifus Maximus” the high priest of paganism. His coins were inscribed: “SOL INVICTOTO COMITI” (committed to the invincible sun).
The importance of the actions of Constantine cannot be overstated, as during his reign pagan sun worship was blended with the worship of the Creator, and officially entitled “Christianity”.”
From the Book “TOO LONG IN THE SUN”. BY Richard M Rives – page 66
The following I have taken from a website, which staes:
Constantine Made Sunday a Civil Rest Day
When Emperor Constantine I — a pagan sun-worshipper — came to power in A.D. 313, he legalized Christianity and made the first Sunday-keeping law. His infamous Sunday enforcement law of March 7, A.D. 321, reads as follows: “On the venerable Day of the Sun let the magistrates and people residing in cities rest, and let all workshops be closed.” (Codex Justinianus 3.12.3, trans. Philip Schaff, History of the Christian Church, 5th ed. (New York, 1902), 3:380, note 1.)
The Sunday law was officially confirmed by the Roman Papacy. The Council of Laodicea in A.D. 364 decreed, “Christians shall not Judaize and be idle on Saturday but shall work on that day; but the Lord’s Day they shall especially honour, and, as being Christians, shall, if possible, do no work on that day. If, however, they are found Judaizing, they shall be shut out from Christ” (Strand, op. cit., citing Charles J. Hefele, A History of the Councils of the Church, 2 [Edinburgh, 1876] 316).
Cardinal Gibbons, in Faith of Our Fathers, 92nd ed., p. 89, freely admits, “You may read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and you will not find a single line authorizing the sanctification of Sunday. The Scriptures enforce the religious observance of Saturday, a day which we [the Catholic Church] never sanctify.”
Again, “The Catholic Church, … by virtue of her divine mission, changed the day from Saturday to Sunday” (The Catholic Mirror, official publication of James Cardinal Gibbons, Sept. 23, 1893).
“Protestants do not realize that by observing Sunday, they accept the authority of the spokesperson of the Church, the Pope” (Our Sunday Visitor, February 5, 1950).
“Of course the Catholic Church claims that the change [Saturday Sabbath to Sunday] was her act... And the act is a mark of her ecclesiastical authority in religious things” (H.F. Thomas, Chancellor of Cardinal Gibbons).
“Sunday is our mark of authority… the church is above the Bible, and this transference of Sabbath observance is proof of that fact” (Catholic Record of London, Ontario Sept 1, 1923).
What a shocking admission!
http://cgi.org/who-changed-the-sabbath-to-sunday/
Satan always had a counterfeit for everything our Creator has. Remember that. The Sabbat is no exception! The enemy has his day, in Christianity it is Sunday and in Islam it is Friday.
The Bible does not record any change from seventh-day to first day worship. If the change were catalogued there, it would no longer be so perplexing for anyone. But our Creator says, “I am Yahweh, I change not.” Malachi 3:6. This commandment still stands; for the Savior declares that “it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the Torah (law) to fail.” Luke 16:17. Since heaven and earth are still standing, the fourth precept of the Commandments given at Mount Sinai is still obligatory. Y’shua said: “Think not that I am come to destroy the Torah (law);” and, “If thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandment.” Matthew 5:17; 19:17. That means all Ten of the Commandments, not just 9 of them.
In Exodus 20:8-11 are the words of YHVH “Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy 9 Six days shalt thou labor and do all thy work. 10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yahweh thy Elohim, in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates 11 For in six days Yahweh made heaven and earth, the sea and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day; wherefore Yahweh blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.” Restoration Study Bible
It is important to notice that the very language used in the fourth commandments as we see above indicates a previous knowledge of it. It states “REMEMBER”. There is absolutely no information regarding a Christian Sabbath, called Sunday in the entire Scripture.
Then we have Exodus 31:13-14 “Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, verily my Sabbaths ye shall keep; for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am Yahweh that doth sanctify you. 14 Ye shall keep the Sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein that soul shall be cut off from among his people.” RSB
The weekly Sabbath was instituted at Creation as stated before and therefore it is not for the Jews, nor for the physical descendants of Israel only. Some people say that the seventh day Sabbath is the Jewish Sabbath and that Sunday is the Christian Sabbath. However, studying Scripture, you will find only one Sabbath, the one established at the time of creation before anyone knew what a Jew, what Israel, or what a Christian was.
However, today, the moment we mention the Sabbath of the fourth commandment even among professed Christians, eyebrows are lifted. Questions are raised. Excuses are piled high. Why? I ask you. Why?
The reason is that people have been deceived, lied to and brainwashed by the arch-deceiver Satan, who used people to accomplish his goal.
The One who made this earth is the One who made the 7th Day Sabbath. His name is Y’shua Ha Mashiach according to John 1:10. He has every right to say, “The Son of man is Lord of the Sabbath day.” For He made it. He has every right to say, “If ye love Me, keep My Commandments.”
Yahweh Elohim, Abba our Father has a Day. This Day is the Sabbath, the 7th Day of the week, which He set apart, made it Holy and it is the ONLY DAY that He blessed. So let’s remember it and keep it HOLY, no matter what others say or think! We don’t remember the Sabbath to be saved, but because of proof that we are saved through the blood of Y’shua Ha Mashiach!
The Greek word translated “itching” literally means “to itch, rub, scratch, or tickle.” To want one’s ears “tickled” is to desire massages rather than messages, sermons that charm rather than challenge, entertain rather than edify, and please rather than preach. “Itching ears” is a figure of speech that refers to people’s desires, felt needs, or wants. It is these desires that impel a person to believe whatever he wants to believe rather than the actual truth itself. When people have “itching ears,” they decide for themselves what is right or wrong, and they seek out others to support their notions. “Itching ears” are concerned with what feels good or comfortable, not with the truth—after all, truth is often uncomfortable. Paul’s warning is that the church would one day contain those who only opened their ears to those who would scratch their “itch.”

The books of Titus and Timothy written by Paul are an instruction manual to administer the local assemblies Paul had established and it is also telling them how they should preach and about the reaction of the people to their message. When Paul wrote those books he was a prisoner in Rome awaiting his execution. While he was waiting he felt a great urgency about certain heresies and teachings which were creeping in. In these books he is very specific, he is talking about “the” truth, not any truth and “the” faith, not any faith. There is only ONE truth and ONE faith, even though today there is much being proclaimed as claiming to be truth and claiming to be the genuine faith. Paul is using the expression sound doctrine very frequently in these letters showing that he is very concerned about what is being taught. He sees heresies coming into the assemblies; he is talking about wolves coming in not sparing the flock. Look at the over 41,000 different denominations, groups and sects, all claiming to have the only truth, but in reality most of their teachings are fake or man-made.
Let’s look at 2 Timothy 4:1-5. “I charge thee therefore before God, and the Master Y’shua Ha Mashiach, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.” KJV
Why is Paul giving this counsel to Timothy while he is sitting in prison in Rome? He is very concerned about the people he was leading to Y’shua that they may be deceived by these heresies.
Paul knew that Satan is busy trying to undo what he had done. That’s why he said in 1. Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” KJV
Satan is behind all of the deceptions and false doctrines, then and today. When Paul says “I charge thee therefore before YHVH and Y’shua the Messiah,” Paul is saying I am giving you an oath before 2 witnesses, in the presence of the Father and the Son, I solemnly witness in a court of law that you Timothy are to preach the word of Yahweh, straight, forward and undiluted, because nothing else will stand the final test.
Paul is giving this counsel under oath in the presence of YHVH and Y’shua, because he and Timothy will be judged when Y’shua comes back, if they have been faithful to that trust or not. Most people seem to forget that part, otherwise they wouldn’t be so determined to be stuck in false doctrines they inherited from their fathers, but would have open minds and make sure that their teachings are truly biblical. Just because your denomination teaches something, doesn’t mean it is biblical. Think of Jeremiah 16:19 where it states: “Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.” KJV
Remember “the watchmen are responsible for the condition of the people.” Ezekiel chapter 3
The instructions Paul gave to Timothy simply say “Preach the word.” Which word is he talking about?
If you look at the previous verses (chapter 3:16-17) it tells us that he is talking about “All Scripture.” “Because all Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” KJV
By all Scripture he is referring to the Old Testament, the Torah, the Prophets, and the Psalms as there was no New Testament at that time. That means the Old Testament contained all the information necessary for salvation.
Then he says “be instant or ready at any moment in season and out of season,” when it is convenient or not convenient, with advance notice or no notice at all. We always must be able to give a biblical answer to anyone at any time.
In this passage we find several commands. Paul doesn’t say to Timothy, it would be nice for you to be ready to preach the word. No, he said “preach the word!”
The first command in the KJV is to “reprove”. The NKJ says to “convince”, which means to convict of error, to correct, to convince someone of their error.
1 Timothy 5:20 uses the same word. The apostle Paul says, that those who are sinning reprove (ASV) in the presence of all so that the rest may fear. Here are individuals that are sinning and these individuals need to be convinced of their error or wrong course. Also in Ephesians 5:11 Paul says “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.” The NKJ says “expose them.”
The apostle Paul is saying that the preacher is to convict of error and of false teachings, because it is a salvation issue.
That’s the reason Y’shua says in Matthew 15:8-9 “This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. 9. But in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.” KJV Vain means worthless!
Y’shua is quoting here Isaiah 29:13. Knowingly proclaiming false doctrines or the commandments of man is a salvational issue.
Then we have another imperative. The first one was “convince”. The next one being used is “rebuke”.
· What does rebuke mean?
I understand, that the word “rebuke” here in Greek means to warn in order to prevent an action or in order to bring an action to an end.
Maybe a few texts in the NT help us to understand the meaning of this word. In Matthew 8:26 we are told that Y’shua rebuked the winds, he was telling the wind to stop blowing.
Then we have Matthew where the disciples rebuked the children trying to keep them from coming to Y’shua. So to rebuke means to prevent an action or to bring an action to an end. This may not be a pleasant job but it needs to be done.
The apostle Paul says, you must convict, you must rebuke and then he used another imperative “you must exhort” which is a positive word. For example in Titus 1:9 Paul tells the elders to encourage the members. In Hebrews 10:25 the members are encouraged to help one another.
The work of a spiritual leader according to Paul does not only involve convicting, rebuking wrong behavior to bring it to an end or to prevent it to take place, but also involves encouraging each other, exhorting them to follow the Word.
Then Paul says that this preaching and teaching to convict, rebuke and to exhort is to be done with all long-suffering, which simply means with patience. Sometimes the preaching does not produce immediate results or fruits. An individual that is being called to the gospel ministry is to be a patient or longsuffering teacher being faithful to Yahweh’s word.
· Why is it important for a minister to convict, rebuke and exhort with patience?
The answer is being given in verse 3 where it says, “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine.”
· Who are the “they” that it is talking about?
These are not gentiles or unbelievers; these are professed believers, professed people of Elohim. These professed believers will not tolerate sound doctrine, they will reject them.
Paul said to Timothy: don’t worry about it, still preach the Word. He doesn’t say just because they reject sound doctrine, be careful, be politically correct, don’t tell it like it its, just be smooth and soft; don’t offend anybody. No, he says “preach the Word; tell it like it is, if people like it or not, but do it with all patience and long-suffering.”
· Since those people will not tolerate sound doctrines what will they do?
Verse 3 continues saying “but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears.” After their own lusts here means after their own wicked, evil desires and affections. In Romans 6:12 Paul says “Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.”
In Romans 13:14 he says “But put ye on the Master Y’shua Ha Mashiach, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof.”
Then we have 2 Peter 3:3 where it says “Knowing this first, that there shall cone in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts.” The word “lusts” refers to evil, sinful desires that are found itself in the heart and that express themselves in evil actions. So Paul is saying that the day is coming when many professed believers will not tolerate sound doctrines but according to their own lustful, evil desires they are going to pile up to themselves teachers that teach what they want to hear.
Many professed believers, called Christians, watch what the world watches, they listen to what the world listens to, they participate in the entertainment the world participates in, they dress as the world dresses, they eat and drink as the world eats and drinks, they lie and they cheat as the world does, they divorce and get remarried several times just as the world does.
Not only does Paul say that professed believers live according to their sinful lust, but they are actually trying to justify what they are doing by quoting Scripture like the Old Testament is for Jews only and not for the people in the New Testament. They claim that the law has been done away with, we live under grace now, just love Jesus and everything will be well with you.
Many ministers in the various denominations preach smooth things, a different gospel, a Greek Messiah, a watered down message, to suit carnal professors. They dare not preach the unadulterated truth as it is in Y’shua, the cutting words of the Bible starting in Genesis 1:1, because they would be losing a lot of their members and with it their income. Many times they cater especially to the people who are well to do.
Nany people want to be called followers of Y’shua, but at the same time they want to hold on to the world and to continue their selfish and sinful lifestyle. That’s where the itching ears come in, they are looking for preachers that preach a comfortable, loving and easy message and the world is full of them. Jeremiah had the same problem in Jeremiah 5:31. It says “The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so. …”
Such people turn from the truth, from sound doctrine and turn to teachers that tickle their ears with fables. What are fables?
Fables are the opposite of sound doctrines. Other translators use the words like “true, wholesome, good, accurate and healthy” doctrines.
To know sound doctrine, we must know the Word of Yahweh, as He is the source of them. We must begin in Genesis 1:1 and not in the middle of the book. The Bible is one book. The Old Testament is the New Testament concealed and the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed. That means don’t separate them as they cannot be separated. There are not two separate sets of standards, one for the Old Testament and one for the New Testament believers. There is grace, faith and obedience in the Old Testament and there is grace, faith and obedience in the New Testament. The God of the Old Testament is the same as the God of the New Testament, His name Is YHVH. He said in Malachi 3:6 “I am YHVH, I change not.” The same applies to His son, because in Hebrews 13:8 it says: “Y’shua is the same yesterday, and today, and forever”. That means every believer must study and know the Word and the truth it contains. King David models an appropriate love for the Word, when he exclaims, “Oh how I love your Torah! It is my meditation all the day” (Psalm 119:97). By day and by night he studied the Scripture in order to apply it to his life. Sound doctrines is Yahweh’s road map leading to eternal life.
Fables are deadly teachings, because they are man-made, false, foolish, senseless and myths and lead to damnation. Many teachings in Christianity today contain Greek mythology, sets of stories about the gods, goddesses, heroes and rituals of Ancient Greeks. Christianity took pagan holidays like Christmas, Easter and Halloween as examples and gave those biblical names and the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob rejects such doctrines.
When people turn from sound scriptural doctrines, from the Torah, Yahweh “sends them strong delusions, that they should believe a lie, that they might be dammed, who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12
We live in a world today that doesn’t want to hear sound doctrines like keeping the weekly and the yearly Sabbath days, abstaining from unclean foods, making a difference between the holy and the common. We often hear the words “don’t talk to me about doctrine, I want a relationship with Jesus.” However, a relationship with the Messiah is experienced only in obedience to His Word. That relationship is established through following sound, biblical doctrines, “for in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of man.” Matthew 15, 8-9 or Isaiah 29:13
When YHVH gave the ancient Hebrews instructions about how to worship Him, He told them very specifically not to borrow or copy the practices of pagan cultures around them. He said, “Do not inquire after their gods, saying, ‘How did these nations serve their gods? I will also do likewise.’ You shall not worship Yahweh your Elohim in that way” (Deuteronomy 12:30-31). The point of faithfulness is that Yahweh defines how He should be worshipped, not man: “Whatever I command you, be careful to observe it; you shall not add to it nor take away from it” (Deuteronomy 12:32).
In the book of Deuteronomy alone YHVH declares fifteen times the importance of obedience to His Word. The message is loud and clear to obey all of His commandments, if you want His blessing. Do no follow the doctrines and commandments of man, don’t follow your itching ears, but a “THUS SAITH YHVH!”.
These are the word of Y’shua (aka Jesus), which he repeated several times while He was here on earth as a warning of the coming judgment, which everyone will face in the near future. These words should concern everyone living today, while there is time to choose. Because the time will come that it will be too late for weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
The phrase “gnashing of teeth” is found seven times in the Bible and only in the New Testament and is used mainly in reference to the final judgment of sinners that refuse to repent and turn to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, where it is combined with either weeping or wailing.
The word “weeping” is usually well understood, so what does the “gnashing of teeth” mean? Gnashing means to strike or grind the teeth together and it is usually the result of intense pain, anger, rage and bitter disappointment. It is a time when people will realize that they are lost, and it is too late to change your mind and to turn around. Just like Esau in the Bible, when he realized too late his fatal mistake to sell his birth right for a lentil dish.
When we look at Matthew 8, 11-12, we find that the chosen people of Israel were so certain of their favor with GOD and their eternal salvation that they considered Gentiles as dogs and looked down on them, because after all they themselves were the physical descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and were especially blessed. They forgot the conditions upon these blessings were given to begin with.
Now Y’shua comes along, speaking to the leadership of the Jewish Nation, saying: “And I say unto you, that many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. 12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” KJV They didn’t like that and were upset with his statement and wanted to get rid of him as soon as possible.
Then we have the words in Matthew 7:22-23, when Y’shua called the professed believers “workers of iniquity” that will also be cast in the lake of fire, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Here are his words: “Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” KJV
In Matthew 22:12-13 we find that someone was able to get somehow to the wedding banquet without the proper attire that was required in order to attend. It states: “‘and he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. 13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Matthew 22:12-13 KJV
This individual had no excuse and for that reason he was cast out into the darkness.
The weeping and gnashing of teeth is symbolic of utter despair, anger, hopeless-ness, tears of regret and uncontrollable rage. Why? For not having taken the warnings given in Scripture serious enough and believing some false teachers, pastors or teachers. Think about it, the Bible is widely available today, the information of how to escape the damnation is within the reach of everyone that is interested. However, there seems to be so little interest in seeking eternal values, because for many people the Bible is considered a fairy tale and most of them feel so secure in their particular Church that they feel no need to seek any further. Just like the Jews did at the time of the Messiah.
Satan has been blinding people to the truth since the beginning of time. He began his “work” on earth by calling God’s word in Genesis 1:1 into question and he has been doing so ever since. He knows the truth, he has been a covering cherub (Ezekiel 28:16), but rebelled. He is a liar and the father of lies according to John 8:44.
In James 2:19 it states that the devils believe that there is one GOD, but they tremble. In 1 Peter 5:8 we are told that your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. The demons know what they lost, that’s why Satan is out to deceive if possible the very elect. (Mathew 24:24) He is out to kill, to steal and to destroy (John 10:10).
Everywhere we look, false teachings, of course inspired by Satan, are rampant — on television and radio in books and magazines, in schools and universities, and mainly in Churches and in Christian schools and colleges. Children are taught that our ancestors crawled out of the ocean millions of years ago and that the story of Noah’s Ark is a fairy tale.
When you study the Bible you will find that Y’shua spoke twice as much about hell as He ever did about heaven, because He desires that no one go there according to 2nd Peter 3:9 “YHVH is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” KJV
Y’shua has given warning after warning, parable after parable that speak and warn about the coming judgment and the reality of the Lake of fire.
There will be a wailing and gnashing of teeth, but that is the fate of those who do not belong to Y’shua, the Hebrew Messiah. Those people will suffer a terrible fate, and while on the other hand, there is a people that will enjoy bliss in heaven with Y’shua forever. The Lake of Fire or hell will be a place of anguish, remorse, pain, and misery. However, Heaven will be a place where Yahweh eventually “shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” (Revelation 21:4)
Y’shua states in John 14:1-3 “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” KJV
In John 5:24 the Creator Himself said: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” KJV
Or John 5:27-18: “Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.” KJV
Let’s look at this beautiful promise of our Savior in Revelation chapter 21:1-5 “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.” KJV
The word "faithful" indicates that Y’shua is completely trustworthy, reliable and 100% dependable. The word "true" suggests that the same applies to His words as revealed in Scripture starting in Genesis 1:1 and ending in Revelation 22:21. We can therefore trust Him and submit to Him completely, without fear of ever being let down, misled, betrayed or abandoned. His word is something that you can take to the bank. It is something that has proven to be true in the past and it will be true in the future. It is something that you can stake your reputation and your future on.
Do you have the desire to know and to trust Him? YHVH keeps His promises and He will not disappoint you, because He is not a man (Numbers 23:19). He even swears this in Deuteronomy 30, 19-10: “This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love Yahweh Elohim, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For Yahweh is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob!” NIV
When we continuously reject Yahweh’s offer, there will be serious consequences, as it is being reported in the Book of Samuel. I would like to look at this example, not to pass sentence, but to look at the reality with what we are dealing with.
We read in 1. Samuel 15:1-3 “Samuel also said unto Saul, YHVH (Pronounced Yahweh or Yahuah) sent me to anoint thee to be king over his people, over Israel: now therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the words of YHVH. 2 Thus saith YHVH of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt. 3 Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.” KJV
Did Samuel do as commanded? Look at 1 Samuel 1: 7-9 “And Samual smote the Amalekites … 8 And he took Agag the king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword. 9 But Saul and the people spared Agag, and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen, and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that was good, and would not utterly destroy them: but everything that was vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly.” KJV
Then we read the verses 10, 11, 19-23 “Then came the word of YHVH unto Samuel, saying, 11 It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel; and he cried unto YHVH all night. 19 Wherefore then didst thou not obey the voice of YHVH, but didst fly upon the spoil, and didst evil in the sight of YHVH? 20 And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of YHVH, and have gone the way which YHVH sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites. 21 But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice unto YHVH thy God in Gilgal. 22 And Samuel said, Hath YHVH as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of YHVH? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. 23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of YHVH, he hath also rejected thee from being king.” KJV
Then 1 Samuel 15:35 “And Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of his death: nevertheless Samuel mourned for Saul: and YHVH repented that he had made Saul king over Israel.” Afterward Samuel was sent to anoint David as King over Israel and it states in verse 14, Chapter 16 “But the Spirit of YHVH departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from YHVH troubled him.” KJV This shows that man is a breakable, empty vessel, that either is being filled and controlled by the Spirit of YHVH or by Demons. Who is filling your vessel und who is in control of your thoughts and actions?
